The challenge

The retailer wanted a light jacket that packs into its own pocket for its private label. Its first attempt with another factory had feathers poking through seams, and it needed proof of responsibly sourced down for its customers.

Our solution

We used a downproof 20D nylon with a calendered finish, tightened the stitch density on baffle seams, and weighed fill by chamber on every size. Down came with lot traceability documents, and each lot was tested for fill power and down cluster content before filling.
