Case 05
Core tee program, re-ordered 9×.
How a direct-to-consumer basics brand kept its best-seller consistent across repeat orders — placeholder case study.
The challenge
Re-orders from the previous supplier kept coming back slightly different — shade, GSM and fit drifted, and customers noticed. Stock-outs between orders were also costing sales.
Our solution
We documented a golden sample and a measurement spec with tolerances, reserved greige fabric for replenishment, checked shade against the approved standard for every dye lot, and agreed a rolling forecast so re-orders could start before stock ran out.
- Golden sample and tolerance spec
- Shade checked against the approved standard per lot
- Reserved greige fabric for re-orders
- Rolling forecast shared monthly
