Case 15
Premium embroidery, 18,000 stitches per cap.
How a Seoul-based label developed dense, clean embroidery on caps and matching knitwear for a capsule collection — placeholder case study.
The challenge
The label’s monogram had fine lines and small lettering that blurred on curved cap fronts. It also wanted the same motif knitted into cardigans and beanies so the capsule felt like one family.
Our solution
We re-digitised the monogram for a curved surface with underlay and pull compensation, tested three thread weights, and converted the motif into a jacquard knit chart. Caps were shaped on forms and packed in rigid boxes to protect the crown.
- Monogram re-digitised for curved fronts
- 3 thread weights sampled
- Motif converted to jacquard knit chart
- Crown-safe rigid box packaging
