Case 03
Technical softshell, 0.8% defect rate.
How an outdoor brand moved a bonded softshell program to a new supplier while tightening quality — placeholder case study.
The challenge
The client’s previous softshell run had delamination and seam-puckering complaints. They needed a supplier who could control bonding quality and document inspections ahead of a seasonal launch.
Our solution
We ran peel-strength and wash tests on the bonded fabric before cutting, added an inline checkpoint at zipper insertion and seam taping, and agreed a written AQL plan with a photo report for every shipment.
- Fabric peel-strength & wash tests before cutting
- Inline checkpoint at zipper insertion
- Written AQL plan with photo reports
- Pre-production meeting with client QC
